Doggin' ' Golden Isles

Georgia mainland is fully protected by a chain of upstream chain, the to the coast in March. The Mainland consists of salt marshes and beaches are on the island chain. Several islands are refuges. The northernmost island of Tybee Iceland, is the playground for Savannah and dogs are not allowed there. The southernmost, Cumberland Iceland, is a national seashore, only with the ferry reach. Dogs not allowed there either.

For dog owners, that leaves only one goal - Golden Isles.

The Golden Islands are four chain around the historic port city of Brunswick. They are easily distinguished for visiting dog owners. There is no country on the little St. Simons Iceland. Sea Iceland is private and has no access. St. Simon Iceland is heavily residential area with sandy beach, to the southern tip of swings. The beach is backed by small dunes, beach houses and high rises. Dogs are allowed, busy beach at any time except during the high season from Memorial Day to labor day. In the summer you can walking on the beach before 09 and after 18.

The most dog lovers who want to Golden Isles visit head straight for the fourth barrier island, Jekyll Iceland, a Georgian gem in account provided. First the whole island, including 11 miles of Atlantic Ocean Beach, a State Park developed families in the late 1800s as a playground for America's wealth today. Dogs are allowed at any time on the beaches.

The beaches around Jekyll point at the southern end are underdeveloped, and you can spend hours with your dog hiking, in addition to natural wind-sculpted dunes. In the North Beach is located at the end of driftwood the forests come directly to the beach. Here's the sands are harder and the gentle waves. A great beach for walking the dog.

From the beaches, none are walking for your dog in the Golden Islands, unless you like yo traveling on paved bike trails. On Jekyll Iceland, go to your dog by 240-acre historic district anchored by the opulent Jeykll Iceland Club.
